Our online shop started in Oct 2008.
Basically it was started
because we love fashion and understand girls would love to be
fashionable and keep up to date with current trends. Besides, the
comfort of shopping offline, just in front of the computer makes it
easier to be able to access fashionable apparels. Personally we find
it much easier shopping online rather than in retail outlets. The fact
that shopping online has less hassle and exclusivity in pieces
compared to shopping in retail outlets is our delight. So, with that
in mind, that is how we got started in this online business.
Our product ranges from belts, dressy skirts, gorgeous dresses which
will take you from casual to dinner occasions, tops, bottoms, blazer,
jackets, jumpsuits and many more. in the near future, we may even be
manufacturing pieces which is exclusively designed by us.
Initially we were cracking our heads thinking about a name for our
online shop. It was pretty random as "Girl About Town" comes to mind
because it is about the girl who has a keen eye for fashion and all
things trendy. Hence, the name "Girl About Town" is coined, complete
with our official logo.
We are different in the sense that we bring in only exclusive
stunning pieces and all the items are imported, which means slim
chances that you will be bumping to another girl with the same piece.
All items come in limited quantity and seldom we take in order for
restocks, only in cases where there is high demand for particular
item. We are stringent in the sense of quality of items, we only sell
apparels which is of guaranteed quality and with affordable price tag.
Our advice would be, dare to dream and be different. Be daring to
take on risks and not fall apart because of setbacks and difficulties.
